Does my ign. map want to kill?
1 Attachment(s)
Hello, all.
Just, please a quick reality check on my maps. I'm aiming for a safe 7-8 psi at the moment, do my maps look terrible? 1991 1.6 with a turbo from lotus elan. Also running factory injectors at up to 155% load... is that alright? https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1422804441 |
kill your tq output, yes.

I have some idea of how to work afr targets and fuel maps, but I have zero experience with timing maps. I don't know what to listen for, look for or feel for. I will get the car dyno tuned professionally as I get tax money, but until then, trying to not break anything. What kills the torque curve? |
You're far below even "safe" he's saying.
Spark makes power, but yes, spark also kills motors. You're not close to doing either. |
Factory injectors might be an issue
|
Oh yeah, those are only good for 115 crank hp. You shouldn't be running them higher than 85%.

Remove the wastegate actuator rod from the wastegate flapper lever.
