Excessivly rich at WOT
 

I bought this car in January from a member of the message board, and by reading his posts, I've figured that the MS was originally built by Braineak. I don't daily the car but on account of the warm weather I've been trying to get the car running better--I've improved the idle and all but I have an issue revving past ~6300 rpm.
The current setup is a GT2560 with 550cc RX7 injectors,Toyota COPs, and AEM linear wideband.

Watching the AFR, cruising, idling and light engine loads seem to be roughly within appropriate range. At WOT, the motor will rev to 6300 and behave like it's hitting a revlimiter and read 10.0 on the wideband. I've tried making a bunch of adjustments but I can't seem to figure this issue out.

This sticks out too me.. Kind of a big jump between 65 and 80kpa. I'd probably smooth that area out.
Someone with more expertise might be able to help you out further though.

Thanks for the reply, I've reduced the values in that cell as far as 20 without any change in the behavior of the car. I bumped them back to those values to protect the motor incase I stumbled on the issue.

Is your turbo even hooked up? MAP should be well over 100kpa at WOT.

Why would you reduce them? :giggle:
You have 30's chillin' next to 70's. You need MORE fuel in those cells, not less.

Yeah what is up with this?

It reads 10PSI on the boost gauge and pulls like it's making positive pressure. Do you think this can be as simple as having the wrong map sensor selected?

I had time to play with the car today and I noticed that, under ambient conditions, my map sensor reads 49-51Kpa all of the time. If I blow or suck on the vacuum line most proximal to the unit the reading varies from 44-55Kpa. The map sensor does react to the vacuum created by the car: it will read ~26kpa at idle and ~90Kpa at WOT.

I'm not completely sure how to determine if my map sensor is bad but selecting any of the four options on the engine constants settings yields the same results under ambient conditions. I've searched around and found the directions to "If your MegaSquirt MAP sensor is reading too low, but responds to vacuum and pressure, then you have the
wrong .inc" but the files I have in my Tunerstudio directory seem to be consistent with the latest I can find on line. Tuner Studio recognizes my firmware as "ms/extra format hr_10" if that helps. Does anyone have any advice on what my next step should be? Thanks!
