Well it's done...sorta. Just have to wire in the Spark jumpers and get a harness to wire it all together. After that I want to make a daughter board so I can control the A/C and fans.

EDIT:
Didn't realize I had linked the same image twice...whoops

...Looks like it was assembled by a robot, very nice looking!

neogenesis2004 08-14-2007 01:27 AM

Looks like he read the assembly instructions. Personally, I just solder the whole damn thing because I never felt like reading it :)

cjernigan 08-14-2007 01:31 AM

Makes me want to build another one. I just like it.

Bryce 08-14-2007 01:38 AM

I'm ---- about reading directions first so I hope mine will come out looking at least half as decent as this.

cjernigan 08-14-2007 01:42 AM

Umm. I don't see EBC on that board. Something is missing.
You gonna add it?

kotomile 08-14-2007 01:46 AM

Looks amazing, very neat work.

MX_Eva 08-14-2007 12:31 PM

Umm.. not sure about the EBC...I had initially decided not to, since I have a MBC and I don't really expect to be playing around with the actual boost amounts very much.

Arkmage 08-14-2007 02:22 PM

I like the idea of having a 3 position switch on the dash for GND-5V-12V to the MS.... so it can automatically adjust you boost off of that switch.

Have a low traction (rain/snow) setting, a "normal" setting (for keeping me out of trouble on a daily basis), and a "holy shit" setting (for racing and acting stupid).

Just a nifty thing EBC can do that the manual cannot.

firedog25 08-14-2007 07:53 PM

I have a TurboXS two stage boost controller... but I think I've got it dialed in backwards.

Braineack 08-15-2007 02:12 PM

Need to pull R7 if you're sharing the stock coolant sensor...unless you are going standalone.

MX_Eva 08-15-2007 04:52 PM

Well I am planning on going standalone, but I don't really want to do so until after I figure out what is needed to control ac...actually...I don't even have working AC in my car, if someone can tell me what I need to do to get the fans working I'll just plug in the MS until more documentation is out about A/C. I do want to use the stock coolant sensor though, so I guess I don't need to pull R7??

Braineack 08-15-2007 05:08 PM

basically you'd replace the thermoswitch with your output from MS...since both as just ground switches.
