Flashing engine AND battery light MS3

So I was fiddling around with my CL idle settings today with my car parked outside of my garage and changed my 2-3 wire setting to 4-6. TS asked me to power reset, so I shut the engine and restarted TS. Upon turning on my car again, a flashing engine AND battery light appeared. So the two lights flash simultaneously in the "on" position, and TS won't connect to the car now. I'm unable to get the ECU out of this mode and cannot start my car. The car starter cranks with the key, but nothing else works.

What the hell is happening? I need to get my car off the road..

I've checked my ECU wiring and etc, but nothing changed.. The car was idling fine a few seconds ago. Anyone experience this problem? How can I fix it?

Thanks in advance..

Just checked my idle valve sound and it no longer beeps when the car is in the "on" position.

I've disconnected the battery but same problem persists..

Here's a video of the flashing battery and engine light. They flash pretty quickly so its hard to tell what's happening.

When I connect my computer to the USB, the computer picks up the USB but not the ECU. I've checked all the fuses and nothing seems to be wrong.

Again, I was idling the car and playing with the CL idle settings (PID) and decided to shut the car off and turn it back on when I saw the flashing. So I'm 100% sure all the hardware is working, is it a possibility that the ECU just stopped working?

Disconnect your coils and injectors to begin with.

It sounds like a firmware bug. Normally, you should get a TunerStudio configuration error, because the 4/6 wire IAC ports are used for other purposes. The fact that you can't connect and the blinking lights means the firmware is confused, so to say.

I would recommend reflashing the firmware at this point, although I will try to validate that this is indeed this issue and report this to the developers.

Remember to switch the IAC back to 2-3 wire in the TS settings before reflashing the ECU and reloading the tune, or you'll be back to square one in no time.

Hey Dimitris,

I'm totally locked out of the ECU. I can confirm that the ECU is receiving power because my wideband draws its 12v from it, and it turns on like normal. My computer reads a usb connection when plugged into to MS3. However, the firmware won't get a connection with the ECU, so it won't let me flash it.

I'm doubting that external power would help me much. It would also take a week or two to order/have it shipped.

Anyone have input on this matter?
