GM IAT with Deutsch Plug

Anyone tried one of these or similar? Can't see why it wouldn't work.

Would make my wiring job slightly easier and possibly a little better

.... Or just use a GM pigtail for the Delphi gm sensor?

Why is it easier? Two wires?

DT connectors are awesome. But do you really need it over the GM metripack? How does it make the wiring job easier?

Neddy 03-28-2018 07:47 PM

ok, please ignore my it's simpler and easier. I didn't really start this thread to debate that. I'd prefer to use DTM as I've had a really good run with them over the years including plugs that would have been through many many engagement cycles...but... it's really no big deal, to the point that it can be ignored.

My main question is does that sensor look ok? Any reason why it wouldn't work? I think it will be fine but thought I'd throw it out there to double check. Plenty of people reading this, perhaps someone tried one and had some sort of issue that I can't see...???

Rywire is reputable, I doubt they would source a motorsport grade sensor that's inadequate. If you like DTM, go for it.
