Default PWM Idle board mods

I have my MS built and tested and it seems to work pretty damn good. For those thinking about building it, its not that tough and it feels good when you have it done and it works.

Anyhow, now I just need to mod the board for my 91 Miata and am stuck on the PWM Idle stuff. Did you guys use the standard Transistor or install the TIP 120/121/122 transistor? If you did install the TIP trasistor, how did you do it?

Thanks!

The Q4 transistor will burn out in no time. You need a TIP122. I added mine to the proto area of the board and ran the connectors to the vacant Q4 transistor holes exactly as shown in the diagram in the Mega Manual.

Ok, cool. I get it now. I will have a TIP122 on the way.

Thanks fellas!
