Help im terrible with electronics

ok i just put in my mspnp, set the timing and all that. then i went and changed the overboost protection, but im still getting a hard cut. i dont know what i did or what to do. help!

Post an MSQ and a log showing a hard cut event, preferably several events.

what did you set the over boost protection to and how close did you get to it?

roadstereunos28 06-22-2008 08:44 PM

i set the over boost to 175 and reached maybe 155(whatever 7 psi is).
i dont have internet access on my laptop, and the battery for some reason wont hold a charge so i cant log, untill i get my new battery.

**EDIT** i never got to 7 psi, the highest i can get it is 2 psi.

NE one have any suggestions?

2 psi? That can't be right, unless you have a boost leak. You might be blowing out spark, which means you need to gap your plugs down most likely though that is doubtful at only 2 psi.

Yes, get a new battery for your laptop.

Get a voltage inverter.
It plugs into the cigar lighter socket & you plug your laptop 120 volt cord into that. Then you can log for hours if you want & you'll be charging your battery at the same time.

+1 get an inverter. Probably cheaper than a new battery for your laptop.

I had one, but whenever I started the car the power would drop since it couldn't provide enough wattage during crank. That didn't work out well =/.
Finally just got a battery, and had the inverter.
