Help- MS2 - rebuild fires but won't idle without dieing

I am having issues getting my freshly fired rebuild to idle without dieing. It's a '96 motor in a '92 chassis.

built bottom end
2560r
Fuel Injector Clinic 650's
rewired for sequential injection

electronic boost control
gm iat
Using the 1.8 vtps and calibrated values of 105 at closed and 750ish wide open.
using the 1.8 iacv and plug, had to switch to 252 Hz from 124 because 124 hummed LOUD.
using 1.8 throttle body
AEM uego 30-4110 wideband. I used the AEM 30-4200 calibration preset...are the values a lot different than the 4100 series widebands?
AEM oil temp gauge

Heres some shots of my menus as of right now. I'd like to get this thing to idle properly, it appears to be really rich on its cold start. I'm thinking its and idle air control valve or fueling table adjustment needed? Braineack built my MS and has been helping me, but putting it here helps get more eyes on it and I can post my logs here as well if needed.

I should add those dashboard shots are with the car not running.

I haven't set base timing yet either, hence why I'm trying to establish a smooth idle so i can do that.

Thanks in advance!

Bump, I know there's some megasquirt geniuses on here! I'd love to get this ironed out tomorrow so i can go for a nice long break in drive.

Bump.

  1. Post logfile of car actually running (when it's having it's issues) instead of useless screenshots of when it isn't.
  2. Post tune file instead of tons of mostly irrelevant screenshots of settings
  3. If noone bothers responding to your post in several days despite lots of bumping, assume you're not doing it right.
  4. If you're posting pictures of things that aren't relevant information on the problem or showing off your awesome car, make sure they contain cats.

Obviously a simple "post up your msq file and a datalog" would have sufficed, being my first time through the tuning process I'm not sure what information is most useful.

You come across as kind of a dick, so thanks for opening your mouth and removing all doubt.

You're not going to get far with that attitude, especially when good advice was offered.

i never said it wasn't good advice, it was. There's just better ways to talk to people who are learning the process of tuning. People don't need to come across as an elitist in order to show they know more than I do, I admit that on my own.

But what's the fun in that? I provided even more information than that, in an easy-to-follow list!

I meant it as general advice to anyone, but if you want to read it as personal criticism, go for it. You don't appear to be completely new to these forums, so I would expect you to both know better about how to do useful posts as well as be accustomed to the local atmosphere of these here internets forums.

By the way, every post you make that isn't datalogs or tune settings is just contributing to derailing yourself further. Godspeed, sir/madam!

you're right, I'll get to the details quicker next time. I'm past the no idle issue now, it's running but wants to idle at 2k and feels choppy in spots along the power band. Brains taking a look at my msq and logs for me, and I'll post up the results. Thanks guys.
