HELP! On the side of the interstate right now!

MS crapped out, and I started getting ecu resets like crazy. Now the car is in a gas station parking lot and I walked down to a hotel to use there internet.

If any of you MS gurus can help me out PLEASE call me at 850.xxx.xxxx.

Unplug coils, reflash firmware, power cycle MS, burn a KNOWN GOOD MSQ, power cycle MS, plug in coils, you're good.

Thanks Pat :bigtu:

This is why an old fart like me with his car running like a dream keeps coming back! :giggle:

I'm at the house now. I called Chad, and he told me to reflash the firmware, so we fucked with the coil clips for 45 minutes to get them unplugged (way to go Mazda) as I have always used a stim for flashing the MS.

The car ran fine for about 10 minutes, then it started hiccuping again, and I limped it to a rest stop. I reflashed the MS again, but it kept corrupting. I just packed up as much of my stuff as I could fit in my buddy's car, and I'm going to go pick it up with a trailer today (it is about one hour away).

I think I have a grounding issue somewhere, so I am going to go re sort out my wideband grounds, and check the wires I have running through the engine bay, as I might have pinched one while I was installing the upper half of the intake while doing injectors.

Do you have a data log of this you can post, along with an MSQ file?

I would, but the datalog is over 4 hours long.

Here is the second time it crapped out for good, but I do not have the .msq that I was using.
