No the stock ecu will not run with those injectors for sure, it might deal with the IAT being messed up but it definitely will not work with those injectors. Can you say flooded?

me too

It's a long shot, but is your malfunctioning TPS reading putting the MS into "flood clear" mode at cranking? It's indicated by a box at the lower-right of the screen.

So long as that's not happening, then the TPS is completely irrelevant right now. Go ahead and disconnect it, then work on figuring out what the real problem is.

cj, i agree i think its flooding, the plugs are wet when checked. but if i change the REC_FUEL shouldnt it compinsate for the injectors? if swap old ones back in and reload base map will the exhaust/lc-1/IAT all fuck with it, or will it run. i dont want to have to swap them out only to find out it was something stupid i am missing. i have been searching all day, trying different pw values, even started fucking with timing (which may be off now too, how sensative is the CAS i have it back in the middle of its range and have tried the entire range of trigger angles)

jp: TPS seems to be working, when i tested cont b/t pin 2 + 4 (looking at sensor from top down) it moves with the throttle body, so i dont think its the sensor + it worked when i rolled it into the garage just fine. i feel it is flooding and you may be on to something, where is this box at the lower right? in megatune? only when cranking?

Reqfuel does not affect crankings pws. If your cranking PWs are flooding it then changing the req fuel does nothing to fix the flooding issue. Dry the cylinders out, clean/dry your plugs up and start over. This time when you fire up megatune look at the coolant temp and open up the cranking PWs. Make it real low and work your way up until it starts easily and quickly that way you know you're not flooding it. Do that for all of the temp range and you should be good to go.

i got it to turn over today! woohoo! didnt stay running though crapped out after few seconds. tried the italian tune up and got her to fire. spark was one of the issues, i was getting it, but apparantly not in the right order. isnt there two different ones, one for the 1.8 and one for the 1.6. i caught it by looking at my pics from before i took it apart, i wanted to get a ballpark of the CAS and i noticed the wires were in a different order then how i installed them, needless to say that helped. obviously this is a little more work then what i originally thought. someone tell me there is an end in sight. 1st track day coming up soon. anyone in the nnj/ny area want to offer a hand in tuning this thing, or recommend a shop with dyno? i cant wait to get this thing a runnin, for the few secs it did, it sounded nice.
