Help with very basic kit. PLZ

I'm over on miata.net trying to get some answers before I start my kit build...having a little trouble...

Maybe I'm an idiot, stupid, dense, dumb but I'm just trying to build a "simple" DIYPNP box.

This is what I have.

https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1381246682

The car- 1996
NA, 2000 eng in a 96, 96 fuel except for injectors, 96 crank trigger and CAS.

The only additions will be MAF delete and sequential fuel.

The instructions say-

..."determine what you need and then build accordingly" but where do I go to determine this...

Thanks.

This is a good place to start:

MEGAsquirt - Miata Turbo Forum - Turbo Kitten is watching you test compression.

Specifically, that link that says "super important Megasquirt threads" link.

Thanks I will check it out.

Seems that maybe sorta maybe kinda that this process could be simplified. I am a pretty mechanical guy with tools, a shop, experience and just want to build a simple mega squirt2.

I understand this is a DIY process. But I have spent many hours pouring over info on the DIY website including following instructions to the letter that came with the kit.

IMO this information gathering experience has been excruciating at best. I will preserver.

Thanks for the response.

Mine is a '96 with an MS1 I didn't build myself, so I'm of limited help. But I'll try.

Thanks....This is a great link.

I am trying to virtually build this in my mine ...start to finish...before I start for real.

The online instructions are quite good (other then it seems a lot of redundancy) it just the niggling small questions as I proceed through the process.

I think it NEEDS to be that way. It forces one to research and learn what they are actually doing. By the time it's over and you're car is running you'll have a better understanding of everything.

if you need to learn how to build one, then follow this:

Engine Management Megasquirt DIYPNP "How-To" - Step-By-Step Instructions - Miata Forumz - Mazda Miata Chat Forums

DIY also has build docs on their website.
