Help with very basic kit. PLZ

I'm over on miata.net trying to get some answers before I start my kit build...having a little trouble...
Maybe I'm an idiot, stupid, dense, dumb but I'm just trying to build a "simple" DIYPNP box. This is what I have. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1381246682 The car- 1996 NA, 2000 eng in a 96, 96 fuel except for injectors, 96 crank trigger and CAS. The only additions will be MAF delete and sequential fuel. The instructions say- ..."determine what you need and then build accordingly" but where do I go to determine this... Thanks. __________________ |
This is a good place to start:
MEGAsquirt - Miata Turbo Forum - Turbo Kitten is watching you test compression. Specifically, that link that says "super important Megasquirt threads" link. |
Thanks I will check it out.
Seems that maybe sorta maybe kinda that this process could be simplified. I am a pretty mechanical guy with tools, a shop, experience and just want to build a simple mega squirt2. I understand this is a DIY process. But I have spent many hours pouring over info on the DIY website including following instructions to the letter that came with the kit. IMO this information gathering experience has been excruciating at best. I will preserver. Thanks for the response. |
Mine is a '96 with an MS1 I didn't build myself, so I'm of limited help. But I'll try.

As a general rule, it's best to install all the main board components except R20, R21, and R39.

I am trying to virtually build this in my mine ...start to finish...before I start for real. The online instructions are quite good (other then it seems a lot of redundancy) it just the niggling small questions as I proceed through the process. |
