Default Help choosing crank trigger wheel and how to wire crank sensor

I am in the process of building up a 1.6 for my project miata. The block will be built with Supertech low compression pistons and M-Tuned rods from 949Racing. ARP hardware throughout the engine for a bit of safetey. The head will be ported and polished and both manifolds will be port matched. The head will have Supertech 1mm oversized valves along with stiffer springs and 323GTX cams and adjustable cam gears. I'll be running a T3/T4 ball bearing turbo on the setup as well. I'm hoping to get near 350HP to the wheels with my setup.

With that info on the motor itself, I need some help. I'll be running the Megasquirt2 that 949Racing sells and I want to add a crank sensor to the car as well.

As for the trigger wheel, i'll be running 949's Supermiata harmonic damper, but they have a few options for the trigger wheel. They offer 4 tooth, 12+1 teeth and 36-1 teeth. I honestly don't know the difference or the effect of the different amount of teeth. Can someone please give me some info as to what would be the best option for my build.

The car will mainly be a street car with an occasional 1/4 mile or autocross run if that makes a difference.

The second part of my question involves wiring the crank sensor for this setup. I plan on running the 2001 miata crank sensor for the setup. I've searched on here and can't seem to find the information I need so i'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

How do I wire up the crank sensor on a 1.6 miata running megasquirt2?

Please help
Alex
