How to control NB2 AC fan on MSLabs MS3 Basic when using single fan?

On a 2002 NB2 when using an MSLabs Megasquirt MS3 Basic. What settings do you use to control a single fan off the drivers side engine cooling fan plug to operate when AC switched on? How to control NB2 AC fan on MSLabs MS3 Basic when using single fan?

Got rid of my air conditioning "passenger side" fan due to space restrictions. Using the engine fan plug to control a single Spal low profile in the center of a Trackspeed radiator. Would like to program the MS to activate the single fan when AC is energized independent of engine temp control.

Believe you can change Fan Control output pin after changing Programmable On/Off outputs and port settings? I'm getting over my head quickly just stating that, and don't want to hose something?

Both fans worked great when running dual stock fans. Now the single fan works great for engine control, but not for AC also.

Screen shots would be nice as programing is not my forte. And yes I've searched a bunch of threads back several years.

First thing I would do is email Reverant and get it straight from him.

If not, this is on a regular MS3Pro running 1.4.0 and NOT MSLabs so I don't know if you have the same .INI file or whatever they call it. If not like this look for a fan control dialog somewhere in the tune. If nothing there, try going to programmable outputs, find the output you have the fan on and see if you can do an "or" command to turn on fan.

BTW, I think you are going to miss the second fan. On my old set-up I couldn't get both fans working and AC at idle sucked. Once both fans worked, it is at least managing the high side pressures in hot weather so the AC does something at idle. It's hard to make the AC work at idle without that other 1400 CFM sucking out heat.

This is already the default on the basemap.

The cooling fan is on InjE, the A/C compressor is on InjF and the A/C fan is on InjG. The cooling fan is configured to switch on when you enable the A/C through TunerStudio, and the A/C fan is also activated when the compressor is engaged through hardware on the mainboard. Ie activating InjG in test mode activates both the A/C compressor and the A/C fan.

Ended up reconfiguring it and it didn't work, so went back to base settings and it works like a charm??

Thinking the flux capacitor just needed to be reset ???

What is on Inj H then?

Both of my fans are set at 89c to turn on but actually they turn on one after another.

My idle drops too much when the fans come on any idea?

See Hector's post in this thread. See the check box for allowing fan to control idle up. Tick in and then put in appropriate values delay (60 mS perhaps) and Duty % (1.5). Then also have some small RPM increase (25 RPM) so that (If you have set up for Advance idle correction) you will get an instant increase in Spark Advance due to the immediate detection of a -25 RPM error.

That takes care of the main fan, at least.

Pretty sure I have my A/C fan only coming on with A/C, as I have found no need for them both for cooling only.
