How does MS determine injector lag?
 

I just bought some "Denso" 550's off of fastcolt which ended up being slightly different than listed.


Anways, i need to determine how the MS sets up injector lag times (latency) depending on the battery voltage so i can get it to work on my car. I talked to fastcolt and he said that there is no battery offset values in MS, but that doesnt make sense to me as all injectors will have a different lag and i would assume MS to be able to correct for this.

If someone is willing to describe this to me that would be great, I have an AEM box, so i have no knowledge on MS.

It's the number called Battery Voltage Compensation. It uses a linear model - for every volt the battery voltage drops, it adds one of that number to the opening time.

MS3 has a different setup, for the record, with a more detailed curve.
