I am building a MS board now and have a question

I got my kit parts yesterday and started building the main board. I've read both the MS manual and braineack's write up before buying the kit. Instead of going through the manual step by step build procedure, i just opened up the component bags and placed each component on the board using the labels. so for example i opened up the resistors bag and installed all of them, then the diodes and installed all of them, etc. i am not almost done with all of the components. here is my question, braineack took out the components that you "dont need to install" from his diagram and write up, i just installed everything to make things easier. now are these extra components optional meaning it isn't neccesary to install but you can put them if you want? or do i specifically need to not have them on the board?

Normally they won't cause any trouble. But you will want to check it with a Stim of course.

it wont hurt if they are there....basically, the only thing im pulling is the option for the VR circuit, it takes a lot of the board....when you jump tach and optin (hal/optical circuit) you render it all useless anyways, so i see no point of installing it all.

Nothing against braineacks write up but I wouldnt just plug stuff in and solder when building my first board. id use his thread as the main reference for all questions but follow the megamanual along with testing along the way.
