Yeah, you have to tune something indeed. The megasquirt. Have fun.

Sure. You can pay someone to do anything for you if you have enough money. Pay my airfare and housing accommodations plus $50/hr for tuning and I'll do it.

Good luck, a lot of us are having this same problem and all the "tuning" we have done hasn't solved it. I (and a few others by the sounds of it) just turn the idle up a little bit so that it is on the high side when all accessories are off, but droops to a normal level when they are on.

If you find a better solution please let me know what it is.

I've found that reducing the allowed minimum DC of the idle valve in Idle Settings can get the idle to drop down a little further. If you go too low you get idle droop issues, though. I'm still fiddling with the 99 motor idle; sometimes it's spot on, sometimes it's a little high.

Another thing, you might want to try a little more advance at low RPM.

I just noticed a similar problem to this with my car about 10 minutes ago. I was driving home from my friends house in the dark, while doing a datalog. I got the car home and I saved all my information, then I turned off my headlights. The AFR's changed. I have my MS wired in parallel using the factory wiring to the ECU to power the MS. Maybe I have some sort of grounding issue?
