HELP. started the car with MS grounds disconnected...
I wanted to tidy the wiring mess under the hood and forgot to connect MS grounds (under TB), but the ground wires had some poor contact with engine. I started the car and immedietaly found out that something is wrong. The engine didnt work on 4 cylinders (the same as when some day I connected spark wires in wrong order). I turned it off, connected the ECU grounds but it didn't help. I reflashed my code, but it also didn't help, the engine worked bad. after few tries (start for 2-3 sec and off) it doesn' start at all (probably flood)
Any ideas what's wrong? have I fried my MS or ignior?

that's right MS is ok, I've fried one of the coils. When searching for new coil I found this on mx5parts.co.uk:
Have you burnt out your coil? The No1 cause of this, is having the ignition on without the engine running. Don't EVER do this! There is, however, a second lesser known cause, a loose earth cable! Check all the earths around the engine, including the one on the alternator bracket.
Only £201.49 inc vat !!!!!
There are some coil packs for twice less on ebay, anyone uses them?

I think this is a perfect opportunity to switch to COPs. I did when my coils died and it was a helluva lot cheaper than replacing the weaksauce mazda coils.
When I did it I paid £60 for coils and plugs shipped over from the USofA. I expect that they are now a bit more because everyone is doing it. I'm sure either ebay.com or some friendly members around here can hook you up.
Oh and fill out your signature so that everyone knows what your running before making suggestions that wont apply.
