IAT sensor location for NA motor
I don't have my turbo yet but I need to get the car running. Can I use this spot for the IAT for initial start and then get a more permanent spot nearby?

Thats pretty far out of the air stream. I'd try and get it in the air path better.

Yeah it didn't look great to me but i was in a hurry to find a spot because i had to leave for work. Talk about a cock block... been working on all of this since august and i have to wait til tomorrow to try to start it lol. I'm going to drill the top of the intake and put the sensor there, that should work.

if you're not forced induction yet, it's not THAT important. You can run the car like that for now. Just do it right at some point.

i zip-tied my sensor to the chassis behind the driver's headlight (no joke). It used to be in the intake, but it heat-soaked like a mofo. Now i get consistent readings and stable AFRs consequently.

Interesting! I might do that to keep the wires out of the way for the time being until I'm boosted

if you have the airbox still in place, just duct tape it inside in front of the filter element.
