IAV with mspnp
 

Hi,

I'm just finishing intercooler setup and wondering the way I plug iav vacuum. I have just few questions :)

-How mspnp measure the amount of idle air ? Does it use the oem iav ?
-If it doesn't, can I just close the vacuum line and not connect it to ic tube ?

It's not big deal to weld pipe for that vacuum line, but if I doesn't have to, why would I :)

My first intention was to put minifilter to vacuum line, but because I have FI, it would just blow the air through the filter :)

(and why i'm not testing it myself - because I live in Finland and here we won't drive with these cars in winter and I won't start the car -20c :) )

Your first intention was right. Throw a filter on the idle air valve and call it a day. It won't leak air under boost. (or at least it shouldn't, quite a few people run this way).

What are the other options for that. Filter sounds good though...
