New batch arrived this week. There's an output for a low battery light as well now. The old boards are all gone.

Fancy. Have an old board. Works great. Strongly recommend. Ended up putting mine between the Xpansion board and the main board. Mounted upside down.

ok maybe I’m lost but our NB with the Rev built Ms2 + is controlling the alt at 14 volts but the alt controller is freaking out due to electrical noise and shutting down the alt... Will this fix it? because I need to get this car on the road Rev was supposed to get me photos of his circuit board so we could modify ours to put a resister inline to the alt control to lower the noise... my wife wants this car on the road ASAP… and I know revs a busy guy.

I bought this alternator circuit board with all the pieces include for my DIYPNP. I assembled the board and then got to the part about adding the 47k resistor or jumper. I do not know which one to use because it looks like the variable resistor that was included in the packaging is a 10k resistor. The resistor says on it T93YA 10k 10%.

Any help would be appreciated.

Point is to have a total resistance of at least 47K.
So if the variable resistor is really 10K (do measure it with a multi meter) install the 47K resistor as well. You'll have a total resistance of 47K to 57K
If it is 100K, install a jumper and make sure to adjust the variable resistor to 50K.

Hi all,

Are these boards still available?

I'm currently in the process of assembling a MS2 for my '00 1.8 miata and would really like to control the alternator this way.

Thanks

Default Interest in NB alternator circuit board?

I have a spare board and I think components unassembled. If you're interested and Frank doesn't have any.

I have several of these that I purchased and didn't end up using. Let me make sure Frank doesn't have any before I release them to the public.

Thanks guys, I would really appreciate that.

I was planning to use Frank's board for some time now, but when I finally went looking for his web page in order to buy it, I couldn't find it anymore.
