Issues with Oil Pressure Gauge/Sender & MSPNP2

So just got the MSPNP installed on my 1990 Na, and all is running fairly well on the base maps...AFR, idle speed (need to fiddle with closed loop settings) and few other things still need to get dialed in but pretty close.

One immediate thing I noticed was that my oil pressure gauge was no longer operating, I spoke to the folks at DIYPNP and they said the MSPNP doesn't read the sender thru the stock wiring loom.

Instead I was told that I need to rewire and directly connect to the gauge....i've looked high/low on Miataturbo, google, etc and have not found a clear write up on how to do so....anyone here have link or description of what needs to be done?

thanks!

You don't need to do any rewiring - it's connected directly to the gauge as it is. You need to check the wiring the same way as if it were a stock Miata.

really strange, was working fine on the stock ecu...switch to the MS and nada. I checked the wiring, cleaned the spade, jiggled it around and nada. I also checked the grounds for the wiring harness and they all seem fine, torqued them down just to be sure.

Short of replacing the sender, what else could it be?
