JimStim Help

Pointers on where to find notes on use of the Stims would be GREATLY appreciated. I have a DIY MS3 kit, with 3X card. Stim for main board and 3X card.
Tuner Studio shows inputs from:
AFR, Manifold Air Temp, Coolant Temp and TPS.
No reaction for RPM, either coarse or fine adjustment.

Since I have a new MS3 and new Stims, I guess issues could be in either one or even both. Not sure where to go from here

Hey - is anyone allowed to see your Exocet build? I've been kicking around the idea of one myself - but only thinking about it so far. Would love to see one in the flesh (fiberglass?)!

Per tips from Matt, I have verified 3 jumpers from the JimStim to the JimStimX:
5V from Stim to StimX - this was connected.
Ground from Stim to StimX - Did not have this before
Jumper from 2nd Trigger on Stim to Cam on StimX - did not have this before

Made the two changes, but still no RPM signal showing up on the TS screen.

Yes, click the link in my previous post for JimStim usage instructions. Try setting the stim up for 36-1, and of course set your project for 36-1 as well. It's more reliable pattern to replicate on the stim than the Miata pattern.

I don't have any body panels for the Exocet yet. I'm getting the 2014 panels, yet to be released.

Since my last post, I've put the dang thing back in the box for a while. I'm liable to turn it back into its constituent silicon bits due to my high level of frustration.

I did click on that link you suggested. I've been to that site before, mainly when I built the thing. Good info. One thing I did verify, is that the JimStim itself seems to be good. I went through the setup guide, and all LED's work, and the CPU seems OK as I could get one of the LED's flashing when tested. Rate of flashing changed with RPM. Still nada on rpm when hooked up to the MS3 and Tuner Studio. Do have other functions working, coolant, O2 etc.

As good as that info is however, I still don't know why I have no RPM signal on TS. Hopefully a composite log I tried to send to Matt and Brian will show them something I've done wrong or am missing.
