Just want to see if I am getting this right

So a little background...everything I know about megasquirt I learned on this forum or from link from people on this forum I have a 92 1.6 that I want to put megasquirt into as my first mod so I can get a good baseline and to learn the software before turboing. So my plan is;

1. Buying and setting up megasquirt pcb3.0 as well as all the other required stuff put forth in Braineack's "How to make and install your own Diy MegaSquirt" post

2. IAC Valve control mod kit

3. The Fan mod

4. 64-Pin connector (plan on setting it up as standalone)

5. The fuel pump mod (this is kinda confusing to me)

6. Buy install and wire a linear TPS

Is that everything to get me up and running with my 1.6? I know that the AC will no longer work but thats ok. Also, should I go ahead and throw a wideband into my initial build or think about that later. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks

Are you seriously going to build a Megasquirt 1? It is almost 2014 and MS3 with MSX has been around for nearly four years.

Oh, I thought the 3.0 part signified ms3, but I guess not. Any up to date repositories of knowledge for putting MS3 in a 1.6?

3.0 is the version of the Megasquirt mainboard.

MS3 with MS3X is by far the easiest Megasquirt to build.
If you want to build your own MS3 then check Frank's site and msextra.
