Default Troubles starting after MS3 install... 99, n/a content

Installed a Braineack built MS3 on my mostly stock 99. Uploaded his 99-00 MS3 base tune, and I'm having troubles getting the car to start. It makes an attempt, but never breaks ~800rpm and dies almost right away. I've attached my current tune and a datalog of a startup attempt.

Could the vacuum line to your MAP sensor be kinked?
When the engine stops it takes ages for the MAP to reach 78kPa. It doesn't even get to 100kPa.

Interesting point. I'm going to check the line tomorrow, only area I could think would be the culprit is where it passes through the firewall. Could be getting pinched. Is it possible my vac line is too big in diameter? I picked up the closest thing I could find at O'Reily that fit. It seemed like it was tight enough but now I'm questioning it.

Fiddled with a few things, here is the most recent log and current tune. Still doesn't start, just cranks and sputters.

can you go to the diagnostics tab, click capture to file, pick a filename/location, then start logging a composite log.

then crank for like 20-30second with the throttle at 100% WOT so you dont inject fuel.

stop the log and attach/email.

as requested - here's a composite log of startup at WOT. I also emailed it to you, Scott.

Rewired the stock sensors and stuck the stock ECU back in, car started right up and burned off a hell of a lot of fuel through the exhaust. No time right now, but tomorrow I'll let it idle for a little longer on the stock ECU, then I'll wire back up the MS and its sensors and see if maybe clearing out the fuel did anything to help.

Needless to say, I'm frustrated I haven't yet gotten the car to run on the MS, but its good to verify that the engine isn't the issue. I appreciate the feedback I've gotten, nice having people on the internet who are willing to help. So, thank you all.

Hopefully, developments tomorrow.

Where are you located? I recently installed an MS3 in my car and it cranks goofy, starts barely. When it does run though, it runs great...especially since i've tuned it. It's just the initial cranking/ starting up (warm and cold) that isn't right. My car acts similar, like its pumping in way too much fuel during cranking. Perhaps we can compare settings? My car is a '99, currently on stock injectors. (Injector size shouldn't matter, it should just be a required fuel difference anyway.)

I have attached my tune. N/A 2005 stock inj
I tried fiddling with the cranking pulse table but later came to a conclusion that the base figures were the best (i.e the ones Rev sent me).
It might be me guessing but the autotune of the ASE taper also helped with starts.
Mind you figures are in Celsius.

Located near Denver.

Braineack was very helpful and believes the MS needs an update of sorts. Something wonky going on with the crank, like yours. Sending it to him tonight for tweaks, and I'll bolt the stock ecu back up to make the car driveable in the meantime. Who built your MS3?

Thanks for the help guys.

Rev built it. I was running MS2 before this, and when it was cold out my cranking acted the same way as my MS3 does right now. Except its not cold out. Let's say that my car starts and it warms up and I drive it... I could go to a gas station, shut the car off and put gas in it. When I go to leave it'll crank and barely start. This leads me to believe that it's temperature related, I'm just not really certain what. I never drive this thing anyway, nor do I hardly have any time to mess with it, so it's not a priority right now for me.
I'll figure it out sooner or later. When it's running, it runs amazing, it's just the initial cranking/ startup. Idle could use some tuning too.

I really should take a video/ log of the cold start.

This is a cranking video from when it was ms2, now it cranks a lot harder/ slower.
