So then the verdict is leave the FM clip in place, but unplug the neutral safety switch?

I no haz no steenkin' CC anyway so that's not a factor.

It is the 2step basically. Realize that he has it setup as just Fuel cut, which is quite soft. I believe his engage/cut distances are on the larger side also, which would make it softer also.

You could make your launch stuff look like this....

Is it set to fuel cut only? The rev limiter seems a bit slow. Mine is set to spark only and acts similar to the video Splitime posted. Set the limiter at 5 base 3 cut, seems to work fine so I left it.

I dont like spark cut, it's spark/fuel so it behaves differently. but hell, it still spools the turbo.

Have you tried launching with it yet? Even at 10psi I had no traction on the street with it set at 2200. I am going to rig up something so that I run waste gate pressure for launch control (~6psi), then back to whatever the MBC is set at once the clutch is out, just have to find the parts now.

You have a EBC running with MS right?

Does the MS do anything with ignition during launch control?

It can cut off the ignition if you want it to.

I don't suppose DIY autotune will take an FM link as a trade in huh? I'd like launch control.

I'm a little confused

The manual says this:

"Launch Control

(clutch switch jumper wire required at center connector, or you can wire a separate switch/button)

You can use either the stock clutch switch or an external switch for launch control. To use the stock clutch switch, connect pins 12 and 13 together on the center connector. If you want to use your own switch for launch control, connect pin 12 to one terminal of a momentary contact switch and the other terminal on the switch to a chassis ground. Launch control is turned off by default in the tuning software—you can access it’s config in Megatune from the ‘Advanced’ Menu under ‘Launch Control’."

it doesn't say anything about the neutral safety switch, why am I supposed to unplug it?

once you have it hooked up, see how it reacts with the car to ON. the launch control light with light up red when active. if its on in gear, regardless of the clutch, you need to unplug it. it's the two white little connectors off the top of the tranny.

Thanks, I think I answered my own question by going to page 1 and looking at the diagram you posted. So I would basically need to unplug the NSS so that it's not completing the circuit, which would in effect tell the MS that I had dumped the clutch. amirite?

bascially, if you look at the switches

the clutch switch is only grounded when depressed, perfect signal for launch control. clutch down, activate launch control above X tps.

the safety switch grounds when in gear. not cool, MS will think the clutch is down and you wont be able to drive forward when you push the throttle past your trigger.

speaking of, not certain launch control works with a tps signal.....not sure if the PNP addresses this.
