Launch control input differences between MS3 and MSPNP?

Had used an MSPNP for my 97 years ago, but have recently built my own MS3.

The thing that is confusing me with this install, is that for the MSPNP, I disconnected some plugs on the transmission so it did not see that it was in neutral, and that was it. Launch worked, flatshift worked, saw when I pushed the clutch in.

With the MS3 I have not changed anything with the wiring when it comes to the clutch pedals buttons at top or bottom.

Is there an input I am not seeing that the MSPNP used that the MS3 is not to activate launch/flatshift?

I want to keep cruse control as I had with the MSPNP, so I do not want to hack at the wiring when it worked fine with a previous version of megasquirt.

MS3 should need only TPS, RPM and Clutch signal for FS and Launch. For launch, speed can be used to help MS lock out Launch if you are not stationary. I ran them with MS3-Basic with cruise.

Right, I can get that speed controlled launch control to work, but need the input for flatshift now.

What input do you think you are missing? TPS, RPM, Clutch switch should be all you need.

I think the only time an additional signal is needed is for a 2-step burnout switch.

The MSPNP sees the clutch switch with no changes, my MS3 is not, have been trying to figure out what they are seeing differently that it is not seeing it

I need it for the flat shift portion now
