MSII runs with stock AFM, not with IAT sensor
I threw the MSII in the car the other day, it will start but not idle with the IAT sensor hooked up(i double checked the pins were in the right place). I hooked the AFM back up on a whim, and it fires and idles right away. I searched, and the only person that had this problem had a PnP, and had to do a little rewiring. help?

The fuel pump is jumped in the diagnostic box, so it's running.
I entered the values from the installation walkthrough in tunerstudio, an it shows the IAT correctly (near ambient) with the IAT sensor connected

The fuel pump is jumped in the diagnostic box, so it should be running.
(Failing to recognize the subtle distinction between these two concepts is what caused the meltdown at Three Mile Island. The pressurizer relief valve had been switched off, so it should have been closed. It wasn't.)
On a 1.6 car, when having or not having the AFM installed is causing the engine to run vs. not run, the fuel pump is almost always the prime suspect. Open the fuel filler cap and stick your ear down there. Are you absolute positive that it is running? When the engine is off, it's very easy to hear. You can usually even hear the fuel circulating through the rail.
