LC2 Wideband Install Wiring

Hi,

I've done a lot of research reading old posts and watching youtube videos on wideband installs, but I'm also electrically illiterate so I want confirmation of my plan and clarification on a few items. The gauge being separate from the controller is giving me pause as most videos/posts are with an NA and a gauge with integrated controller.

I have an innovate LC2 wideband to be installed on a 2003.

I plan to use the stock O2 sensor location and will be setting up megasquirt 3 PNP at the same time.

I will tap a switched 12v power source for the controller and gauge.

My main questions are:

1. Can I reuse the existing O2 harness to splice in the ground and wideband output from the controller into the stock wiring harness? I would cap the heater wires from the old O2. Will this give me the appropriate ground (same as ECU)? I'm pretty sure the wideband signal splice to the blue wire is ok based on other threads, but curious on the ground to the white?

2. I think I need the wideband signal to go to both the megasquirt and gauge, but only have one wideband output from the controller. Given my plan to connect the wideband into the stock harness, is it ok to also tap into the controller output wire to connect to the gauge? Should I instead use megasquirt to feed my gauge (if so, how)?

Thanks!
