Lock Tunes
Is there anyway I can lock my tunes? I am wanting to be able to tweak my customers tunes and send them back to them based off of their data logs. I was planning on having them log with msdroid as well as use it to upload their new tunes. I just dont want them messing with their tune files.

Nothing infuriates me more than piece of crap douchebag "pro tuners" who lock their tunes and not let anyone see them or be able to do anything with them. No, megasquirt doesnt' have that. And I'm glad they don't. One of the last platforms out there that doesn't completely cut out the end user.
Customer paid you for a tune. They deserve to be able to open it and adjust it if they want. Tell them not to mess with it if the actual concern is that they'll mess it up. If they do, it's on them. I refuse to lock my tunes even when I have the ability to do so. |

Im not against them being able to tune it themselves. If they want to do that they can start with a base map from diy. |
