Radiator fan control question after DIYPNP2 installed
Hi All,
I have a fan issue I cannot seem to diagnose after alot of searching on the forums, so here goes...
I have a DIYPNP home built installed on a 1993 miata with a 1.8 engine swap, NA at the moment. My current issue is that the A/C fan comes on with the ALED output (set for CLT control), but I am expecting the Radiator fan (passenger side). When I turn the A/C on the A/C clutch, A/C fan and Radiator fan all come on.
Is this typical based on the 1990-1993 DIYPNP wiring instructions? I expected the ALED output to control the radiator fan, not the A/C fan, but i guess it really doesnt matter, just confused.
Thanks for any help.

the a/c fan operates when the a/c relay is turned on, there's no separate way [or need] to control it. the main cooling fan also gets activated as well.
unless someone fooled with your fan wiring, i don't see how you could only activate the a/c fan on a 1.6L.
