MAP Sensor

Besides being able to run 44 psi of boost with the 4 bar MAP sensor, is there any other benefits of having it? Pretty sure 21 psi on the stock sensor that comes with the kit is more than enough for me.

The mapdaddy 4 bar sensor has built in barometric correction, it makes adjustments realtime with changes in elevation. You don't need it.

Alright, just making sure, I want my setup to have the best of everything. Rather build it once and build it right.

If you do mountain runs, it might be worth it.

I live in Ohio, the glaciers flattened it out. ;)

I personally have barometric correction on mine, but not because I bought the mapdaddy. I retrofitted another of the 2.5 bar sensors to do exactly the same thing.
The map daddy is worth the money for realtime baro just in case, it also has a better bulkhead connector for the vacuum line. It sticks out of the case instead of being recessed into the case. Up to you if you want to spend the extra money.

MAP DADDY and MS-II sensor calibration settings?

year old thread, but it does prove I searched first...

For the Map Daddy MAP sensor you use 3.5 and 416.5 and 0 and 5 volts.

The MS-II says that the Barometric sensor is usually identical for map. Is this true for the map daddy or should I use 9.3 and 260 like a 2.5 bar sensor?

Anyone have an idea?

Did I put a second MAP sensor in yours? If so it was an MPX4250 (2.5 bar, same as the primary one) and not a MapDaddy.

You just put in one 2.5 bar sensor. But since you built it, my boost is up to 22 psi. SO.... I had a map daddy installed.

And the correct answer is the same settings for both map and baro with a map daddy.
