Hey All,

I just completed an installation of a Braineack-built megasquirt.

Can you guys take a look at my attached log and msq and comment on the AFR's?

I'm concerned that my AFR's seems to bounce around erratically without forming reproducible patterns.

Also, at what KPa do you guys generally switch to open loop mode?

thanks for any comments you have about my current tune.

Jim

Ya you've got some noise goin on there for sure. Also, looks like you may be running a tad rich in boost but hard to tell beyond the noise cause it oscillates a lot.

You have any resetting issues? I didn't catch any in the log.

I currently switch to open loop at 100kpa but ran for many months in constant closed loop without issues.

I have not seen any resets.

Any idea how I go about tracking down the noise issue?
I've re-wired the ground to the same terminal as the ECU grounds to, so I feel ok about that connection.

I guess I could re-crimp the signal wire on the O2 controller. Any other things I should look at?

FWIW I had noise and RPM spikes really bad when I had a bad ground on the driverside of my engine bay. The one that goes from the head to the body.

I've got an NA 1.6, and I'm grounded on the passengers side next to the head where two other ground wires are connected (I believe they are the ones that go to the ECU).

The other ground I noticed was on the drivers side of the block.
