Default Look Ma no MAF

I finally took the time to remove my MAF on my 94. I used a simple 2.00$ metal tube from autozone and an extra k&n filter I had laying around. It has a nice whine and feels a bit stronger when going WOT. Now the problem is that my CEL is on. So I think it is time to remove that lightbulb along with my flashing airbag light. My real question now is do I want to do a naca duct or relocate my air filter like in the following link. http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...2255667_16.jpg

So which do you guys think I should go with?

No clue on the code. Will check it tommorow. The stock ecu does not see nething related to the maf which is why I think it is getting the cel. Will find out tommorow for sure when I have light.

the stock ecu is still going to want to see some resistance values...so if its not seeing anything at all, it may be throwing that code.

How about take out the crossover pipe altogether and run your intake down by the alternator or even in front of the radiator. A coldside intercooler pipe would work well and then you are part way to a turbo setup already.

There's a good idea.

I am cheap and this way cost me 2$ to do.

I actually may do a coldside setup in the future I am just working things out right now. We will see tommorow when I actually put the car in the garage and see what possibilities I have.
