Which do you think is better and why. MS has twice as many cells for load but , about 25% less over the RPM range. I think that's an accurate statement.
MS has 144 cells versus Link 96 cells.

I doubt there would be much difference once both were tuned. 6 seems like too few cells for pressure though on a boosted car, but maybe it is just fine. If it was a piggy that kicks on in boost it would be just fine though.

Yeah, and it's actually only 3 of the six that are for boosted areas. the other three are in vaccum.

personally I'd rather have 12x16,

however I have 5 boost rows, I only use 4 I could easily live with 3. I'll acutally probably go back in one day and take out a boost row. In vacuum, IMO, the slightest change in load/kPa has a big effect on the AFR, it seems like there are a lot of spots where I could use a tad more resolution. So yeah, I could live with the link's 6x16 map to get some extra columns in the 2000-3000RPM range.

look at a sorted fuel or timing map fuel maps could get by with like 4x4 and still get you within a few percent of perfect.

timing would be more difficult but probably wouldn't require more than 6x6 to get you in the ballpark.

I think 16x16 is more than enough. the hydra's 32 x 32 is just silly.

for these choices, I'd go wtih Link 6x16. not much changes as you increase RPM. Look at your maps... the base map probably doesn't change AT ALL over the RPM range.
