Changing back to the MX5 original ECU
Hi
I have a Reverent MS2 extra v3.3.2, I am having a problem with the engine dropping its rev at about 4000 RPM on occasions. This problem only started after changing from v3.3.0 to 3.3.2. What I hope to do is try to eliminate the ignition coil packs from causing this problem by changing back to the original ECU. Is this possible with my setup?
MX5 Mk2 1.8 1998.
M45 Mini Cooper supercharger with 15% pully.
Intercooler.
RX8 420cc yellow injectors.
Walbro GSS342 fuel pump.

I may have found the answer to my revs dropping at 4000 RPM. I have noticed that the fuel pump is very noisey. I found this thread. If you have changed to the Walbro fuel pump and having the same problem then check this link out.
