MS for 92NA1.6 and 99NB1.8, both JDM

Hi all

My first post! So I'm lucky enough to own two Miatas, a 92 NA and a 99 NB. The NA is my get to work hack - 100 mile round trip each day, the NB is a much nicer weekend car. I'm wanting to turbo the NB this year, and after reading all the sage advice on this forum starting with the ECU, either DIYPNP or MSPNP. My intention is to install in the NA first to get some experience tuning, while building up the turbo install in the NB. Which leads me to my questions:

Can I use the same ECU for both cars, just remapping for the changeover to the NB? I'd have thought I could, but diyautotune has a price difference for the two models, implying a difference.
Do the JDM cars have the same 76pin configuration as the USDM?

Perhaps I should have mentioned, the dating on our cars is different from the USA system of dating cars a year ahead. So my NA is dated here as a 91, but it's equivalent to a USA 92. ANd the NB is dated here as a 98, and should be the same as a USDM 99. Makes it very challenging ordering parts! I've just referred to them as 92 and 99 because it seems most on this forum are from the USA.

JDM wiring is generally the same - however, the '99 wiring harness is totally different from the '92. And the '99 has ECU controlled alternator voltage (which is what drives up the pricing on their MSPNP).
