MS AFR Table Interpolation
 

Gents,

I've seen quite a few AFR tables that have the same target AFR all the way across in the upper rows of the table, similar to the attached jpg. If I were to remove (move) those two middle rows in the picture, so the table went from kPa 142 to 190, would the PNP Pro work the same way in the upper load area since the change from row to row is linear? If so, would there be any disadvantages to doing so?

If your kpa cells are completely linear, then there'd be no change. If they're not, there'd be a small change, but it'd be pretty minor.

ie, if your kpa cells are 100, 200, 300, 400, and your afrs are 11.5, 11.4, 11.3, 11.2, then it'd be the same as having 100 and 400, and 11.5 and 11.2 respectively.

Forgive me if your cells are linear, it's too early for maths.
