ms grounds

ok i have the the 5 grounds 8,9,10, 11, and 19 all connected to one wire comming from the db37, what pin on the ecu should i connect this to??

Al Hounos 02-26-2007 11:26 PM

stock ecu ground...

adbradley 02-26-2007 11:33 PM

whitch one, there are like 4?

2a, 2b, 2c, 2d

I ran the ground to the stock grounds on the engine near the CAS and FP regulator. You can never have too good of a ground connection.

I ran mine to roughly the same location.

so pin 8,9,10,11, and 19 on the ms connector can all connect to the ground near the engine??

I grounded them to one of the stock ecu mounting bolts. Also, what gauge wire did you use for your ground? If you connect all of them together in the DB37 (I did) you need to make sure you have a low enough gauge wire to support all those grounds without noise interference.

What would you recommend than arkmage?

adbradley 02-27-2007 02:26 PM

i used like a 10 gauge

10-12 ga would be ideal... I wouldn't use anything higher than 14.

adbradley 02-27-2007 05:45 PM

done

I always run the grounds to the battery to avoid spike into the inputs, but as long as there is less than 0.3 ohms in your connection, you are okay.
