Target AFR for ECU
Hi,
I have a GOTECH ECU and have discovered that I have static AFR of 12.6:1 throught the rev and load sites.
I like to take it down to stoich in the lower ranges.
Once I have install and configure the Wideband sensor could I just reduce or increase the fuel maps without touching the ignition tables.
Is there any risk on doing this. I.e pinging detonation etc?

there's about a jillion threads on proper AFR targets on this site. some of them are long. but if you search you'll find them.
running the car stoich when you're not in boost is generally fine. check those threads for more specific details.
and of course, you've always got to be vigilant about detonation! it's not just caused by incorrect AFRs. timing plays a big role. as does compression. etc. etc.
