Default Spike in VEtable at ~5000rpm 10Psi - normal? Fuel pump?

Hi guys,

I just did the first longer drive with my new MS3+MS3X last week.

The car definitly drives better than with the DIYPNP (lot's of this should be due to the better noise filtering - which the new DIYPNP firmware also has.

Here is my problem / my concerns...

This is what my VEtable looks like (uncorrected at the undriven edges - so a bit rough) after an hour of driving...

I get this huge spike at 5200 rpm/150kPa

This is what the log shows at this spot

Last row - white line is AFR, red line is AFR target...

The car runs happily at ~12AFR at 4500 rpm and ~140kPa with a VE value of 95 and then the VEanalyze did change the value for 5000rpm (as seen above) to 103 and the car still runs leaner and leaner...

Duty cycle is at 53%...

Could this be my fuelpump crapping out?

Just for information - my spark table... should be o.k.?!

Please tell me your thoughts...

P.S.: Have a look at the flat lines for tpsdot and mapdot, map, etc. the new filtering works perfectly - all the lines are with a lag factor of 90 (I suppose I could go 100 without problems...)

you know how to tune the undriven edges? low rpm high load? Use the brakes.
I don't care for autotune because the last I used it changed cells that you hit under acceleration so the map would look like crap. under acceleration does your car travel though the point as you boost up?
you have mutiply map on and whats your afrtraget table set to?

looks like you're running out of injector or fuel pump...your AFRs suck.

I realize you're getting off the throttle a bit, but maybe you're too aggressive with sucked from walls?

Thats what I think... Fuelpump.

...your AFRs suck.
Nah... Only in this particular spot, mostly because see above....

I'm going to post a screenshot from the same log just some seconds before, where I pulled to 6k rpm but 10 kpa less where the AFRs are perfectly fine within 0.1 deviation from the target...

you must not be looking at the same screen shot...

i see it go pig rich then lean out towards redline, looks like possibly high thirteens.

Here is a screenshot from the same log only some minutes earlier

Pull to ~6200 rpm at ~140kPa

It only deviates from the target AFR by 0.2-0.3 AFR. I think the rich condition above is due to tuning - the really lean to a dying fuelpump maybe...

@Brain, can I send you the logfile and my MSQ to have a look at it? (The log is ~13MB...)
