Default 91' automatic tps problem with megasquirt

I'm pulling all the stuff together to turbo my 91' so I just ordered a MS1 PCB3.0 kit. My car used to be an automatic, but I swapped it out for a 5spd. All I did was swap the transmission so all the automatic electronics are still in it.

I thought I read somewhere that the automatic trans has a potentiometer tps and the manual has a simple on/off tps that only indicates full throttle. So my question is, a) is that correct about the tps and b) if it is correct what circuitry modification will I have to do to make it work (or if it is the same as 94 and up to wire the mega squirt that way)

a) Yes.

b) No mods, same as '94-'95. Connect MS pin 26 (Vref) to ECU pin 2K (grn/red). Connect MS pin 22 (TPS) to ECU pin 2M (red/blk). Then just calibrate the sensor in MegaTune.

Yes, the automatic uses a variable TPS which gives better throttle response, but the MSPNP doesn't usually use this feature and they work fine.
