Hey guys, I have a ms2 enhanced, but I need the firmware ini's, and the official links to the mslabs.gr site are no longer functional.

Enhanced_MS2_332b5.zip or .ini

And

Enhanced_MS2_CAN_106.zip or .ini

Would definitely appreciate any help. Kinda need the ini's to get tunerstudio to connect on the new laptop.

 

Reverant can probably get those for you, he made those computers and should have access to the files. He's on this forum and you could also email him

that worked great for the base .ini, now i just need to hunt for the enhanced options .ini, the enhanced_ms2_can_106.zip, also any chance you have the pinout?

 

ok so definitely got something goin on, it will not open using reverents ini file, says comms error, but will open with ms2extra ini... what?

does this mean i have to find and reflash the original firmware?

Update:
I got a reply from reverant, and it's bad news. The firmware on my new Enhanced shouldn't be there, and the original is no longer available to him, I guess he lost the files, or something, idk. So I will have to hunt for someone who still has a copy of the custom firmware s19 or zip.

Reverant said that having the ms2extra firmware flashed to the board is probably not good and while it will work, it won't have certain functions

My guess is I will be lucky to have it work as a basic ms2 at this point, and enhanced features are definitely off the table.

Ok, soooo,just getting back to this after months of being too busy, but, the attached firmware above, when flashed to my MS2 doesn't work, as it only includes the microsquirtmodule.s19 , and not the full fledged megasquirt 2 version needed. And when flashed, shows the Wrong Code Loaded screen.

Does anyone happen to have Rev's 3.3.2b5 megasquirt2.s19 ?

 

There is a Microsquirt module inside MS2E from Reverant, and you have got the proper files.

 

I don't have a microsquirt module. I have a megasquirt 2 daughterboard.

​​​​​After doing alot more research last night, it appears I need to actually locate the 3.3.0bR3 firmware, as my ms2E predates rev using the microsquirt

 

OR, update to a ms3.

I have one project that used an ms2e on a MSM, I can send you the entire project file if you PM me your email. And if I can find it

 

As much as I wish I would have just done ms3x now, I am already damn near 1000 dollars into this MS2E after having to spend money on circuit board diagnosis, and buying the new MS2 daughterboard and having it modified for sequential injection.

I would really really like to have it just fully work finally. I got it running as just a basic MS2, but none of the enhanced features work without the custom FW, and those are what I bought it for.

 

Ok, I got the firmware .s19 and the .ini from reverant, 3.3.0bR3.

I can run and drive now, however I have
No idle valve control
No a/c
Can't see launch input
And more

I have V3.2.Release, V3.3.3, V3.4.0 & V3.4.1 if they'll help you. I never throw anything out!

Im not seeing the enhanced option tabs here, but I thi k I may actually have functional idle. Will update shortly.

 

​​​​​​​As a matter of interest what was the issue with your idle? I have a 99 1.6 on MS2e and when IAC is plugged in car revs to 4-5k, no changes in settings, frequency etc has any effect on it. Stumped!
