Anyone hear from Rev lately?
Hey guys,
I bought a MS3 board from him a few months ago. I've been doing alot of reading and trying to get it into my car without asking stupid questions. Well, I came across a thread where a guy posted instructions that Rev sent him with his, but some of it was cut off. Mine never came with instructions which is why I've been so lost, not knowing where to start. I PM'd him and haven't gotten a response for almost a week now. Before he would respond within a day when I bought it from him. Has anyone heard from him? Maybe my PM got lost in what I assume would be a flood of messages he gets daily. Or does anyone have a full copy of his install instructions that would work for a MS3 into an '04?
Thanks everyone,
-Devin

My specific problem is finding out where to begin lol. I know I never posted here before, but I'm far from new to the automotive scene. Last time I had megasquirt was the very first version of MS2 years ago. Never got it installed because I got hit by a drunk driver and totalled my car. Well, since then I've dealt with more fabrication and carburated engines. Now I'm getting back into the 'tuner' scene and want to learn to deal with EFI. I have everything to turbo my car, the hardware/fabrication side is no issue for me. However, I'm trying to take a safe, easy route into the tuning side, which is why I bought a pre-built ECU that will hopefully be mostly plug-n-play. I have the wideband O2 and IAT sensor also. But I never got any instructions, just the test sheet, so it's left me kinda lost. Everything I read about MS is way beyond where I stand right now lol. I learn from doing, hands on, so reading all this info isn't doing me much good until I can put it into play.
Anyhow, that's kind of a mini-introduction, explanation of my issue, and hopefully a message to show I'm not an idiot, even though this may seem like the easiest thing for some of you lol.
And I got the PM, thank you.

Been moving for the last couple of weeks. I still don't have a landline and DSL, and I barely have 3G internet access on my cell phone (to tether). Even getting my emails reminds me the 90s. Click receive, go make a coffee, get back, still at 40%, go do some chores, maybe it will be at 80%+ by the time I'm done.

Tomorrow I'm installing everything and hopefully getting a decent tune by the end of the day. The car is bone stock so it shouldnt be too bad. Going to replace my stock O2 with the wideband instead of putting in a new bung, this should work, right? Couldn't find anything about anyone else doing it on the stock exhaust other than all the threads should be the same. Seems like if it's a good enough location for stock, why not for my application?

Glad to here you are OK Reverent!
I sent an email requesting instructions on installing the A/F ratio digital box to make my MS3 get the same signal as my wideband display. Should I re-send the e-mail or are you digging through old emails and I would just add to the problem?
