to prevent heat soak, has anybody tried welding the bung to the pipe and using couplers to separate that little piece of pipe from the rest. maybe it would help keep the pipe from heat soaking as much?? i am getting ready to do my own MS2 install and have been following these discussions closely.

I will be keeping mine out of the engine bay as well probably use same place as brain

Heat soak isn't the big problem though, it's poor interpretation of the actual IAT signal and what the true temp of the air hitting the cylinders is.

You can't take much more of a drastic approach to manage heatsoak than my install.

And I still suffer the same type of problems where the code wants to alter my day-to-day fuelling too aggressively for such a small change in ambient temps.

I'm going to get this tuned out though in one big hit.
