MS2 to MS3 No Start
 

Hello Miata community! I made the upgrade from ms2 to ms3x in preparation of getting my setup ready for my VVT engine swap that I'm working on. I swapped over the daughterboard of the ms2 to the ms3 daughterboard no problem. I loaded in the latest firmware into the new daughterboard and started a new project. I adjusted all of the settings that I was using for MS2 since I haven't taken advantage of the MS3x expansion board just yet.
I ran into an issue though. I cannot get the car started and I believe it's in the ignition options settings. on MS2 I was using "Spark A output" to D14 which is corresponding to the LED closest to DB9. So corresponding to "Spark Hardware in use" I put LEDs spark. Next is Cam input. on MS2 I had it as cam input but on MS3 I don't have that option. I have MS3x, Map, and JS10. I know it cannot be the first two so my only option was JS10 but on MS2 that is my Tach out pin.
Am I doing something wrong here? From what I understand I'm either going to have to utilize my MS3x by soldering the cam input to the corresponding input or rewire my cam input to JS10.

So I did this thing where I read a forum, learned a few things, read a write up, learned a few more things. I then continued to applied that knowledge for the betterment of myself. The craziest thing happened and you'll never believe it; my engine fired up instantly. Imagine that.
