MS2 NB HELP!!

Hey Guys, first time post here so go easy on me haha. Currently in the process of putting a turbo on my 98 UK NB 1.6. Just picked up a load of goodies including an MS2 ecu. So the ecu and wiring was originally for a mk1. I'm more than happy with all the wiring going from the ecu loom onto sensors etc. thats not a problem. However, i'm undecided on the best approach with the obvious difference with the ecu multiplugs. Any suggestions on the best way around this would be very welcome. My thoughts at the moment would be to take the connectors off the looms of a mk1 and repin my existing loom to suit the new connectors/ecu, is this possible or would i be better to sell up and invest in a ecu/loom setup designed for a mk2? As i say, any suggestions welcome as i cant decide the best course of action here. Cheers guys.

I just funished going the other way (pinned a NB ECU for a 91 chassis)

I had very specific reasons for doing this, and unless you have a technical need for the off-year ecu I would highly recommend selling what you have and getting the correct ECU for your application. It goes beyond simply moving wires in the harness, or at least it did for me ;)

This is starting to sound like a nightmare, was hoping to use the ecu as it was already mapped for the hardware setup i've got but if its going to be a massive issue i may have no choice. Second hand ecu's here for an NB are few and far between and obviously a new one wont be cheap!
