ms2 pcb3 talkdown/checklist

I think i've spent too long huffing flux and lead fumes, and I want a second opinion before I button up and install. I think assembly is complete, but then again, I thought assembly was complete last week, too, before putting in 12+ more hours.

Anyway, I initially assembled the MS2 according to GM TBI diagrams with the stepper motor idle control, but my buddy with the firebird flaked, and I ended up with the MS.

So after un-building the tbi portions, and rebuilding according to braineack, I realize I have an MS2, not MS1, and a few things were different. I'm not sure what those are, but I want to make absolutely sure my setup is correct. Here goes:

Tsel: Optoout
150res from Vcc to top of R12
c30 removed
tachselect to XG1

installed Joe Perez's inverted spark output mod

built in VR sensor this time around, and second VR sensor input via optoisolator

setup fan mod to run off of a 2222a, triggered from JS0. is this stout enough to drive the fan relay?

I read somewhere that FIDLE had plenty of current handling abilities to control idle as assembled with MS2, is this correct? or do I need another driver?

86ing the AC and PS, so not worried about controlling them. Is there anything else I should include before buttoning up and performing install? Thanks.

That diode is plenty strong for driving a relay, but you'll want to upgrade the FIDLE circuit to handle the Miata IAC valve.

I will perform the idle mod today, then. Thank you for not making me find that out the hard way!

everything else seem alright?
