Hi Pinky,
Since you had some earlier interaction on this topic I was wondering if you had collection and other documentation beside the great diagram that Braineack posted.

I had been going around in circles looking at the diagrams that DIYAuto sent and the stock 1999 wiring diagrams and the 1994 wiring diagrams and the 1990 diagrams. Car started out as a 1990 and we put a 1995 drivetrain in it with a prototype Links system in 1995. When that engine wore out I put in a 2001 engine but didn't have the ecu so we went with the 1999 ecu and the 99 intake with the VICS and left the VVT disconnected. We jumped the intake cam timing 1 tooth which gave me about the right amount of change in the intake cam timing but was fixed across the whole rpm range. So the megasquirt seems to be the best solution to be able to get the VVT to work and also to not be stuck with a links that Flyin' Miata was no longer interested in upgrading. Some more documentation would have helped but looking at the diagram Braineac posted seems to have moved me in the right direction.
Thanks,
Steve
