ms2 installed car wont start
i just installed my ms2 v3.0 and my car wont start. im still a little confused on how the pins and wires are supposed to be connected from the 64 pin connector to the db37 pin because ive seen at least three different diagrams for a 94 miata on which wire is supposed to go to which pin. i think my problem is in the harness but im kinda lost as to which pins go where and i have been searching high and low for a definite answer. my build is a stock 94 miata with gm ait sensor and supra 305 injectors. my fuel pump turns on and everything but i get no rpm signal on the dash and tuner studio says that my ignition inputs are off or something.

Try composite logging in tunerstudio to make sure you have cam and crank signal. If the resistors arent adjusted correctly you will get no signal (happened to me).
Look at the ecu pin out for 94 vs 96 and you can confirm if your harness is correct.

Miata side should look similar to this (do not follow for db37 side)

For example on that top row of connector 2 you should have 2 gounds then 5 wires. Starting next the second ground: crank, cam, tach, 5v, tps. You only have 4 wires.

Miata side will match that diagram (eg 2E goes to "crank in"). DB37 side will be what is configured to your ms2. Ive only built MS3. But i would think everything listed as MAIN would be the correct pinout. You would just have to figure out where all the functions run by the MS3x board go on the main board.
