10* to 14* on the stocker was something like 2-3whp peak IIRC. I didn't save the chart or look at it super close.

Thanks for the info!

I have one MS ready for a Miata. However the turbo that was ordered from BEGI will come with a XCEED too. It's time to test the two against each other. I believe the owner is even willing to get the car on the dyno and he is really picky about drivability of the car. I am sure MegaSquirt will come on the top, but this will be the proof.

I thought about BEGI, they're pretty tightly attached to the XCEED though, time will tell-- I may still talk to them. We may be able to work with each other on some stuff... I'm thinking our car will be used for a 'Turbo Miata Cookbook' of sorts, with local easy dyno access, we'll see just what it takes to build it up a bit at a time. Most likely starting with a Greddy kit.

It is good to see I'll probably gain a little bit on my NA 95 when I get my MS installed.

I haven't used the XCEED, but if it gives you full tunability you 'should' be able to get the same power results out of it. Timing is timing, and fuel is fuel, it's really about getting full control at a reasonable price, and bonus features are nice too. The trick with the MS is getting the 'creature comforts' working like stock. We haven't looked into cruise control, and to be honest probably won't (may work, our test car doesn't have it), but everything else except emissions bits work like stock on our new system, without the need for the stock ECU anymore...

Just got back in town with our new '91 (670 mile drive, I'm tired ;). It's in pretty good shape minus a couple of TLC items that we'll address. Driver's mirror needs to be re-attached but it's there. I need to get a new radio bezel for it, new starter as this one is on the way out, still works most of the time, (clicks then nothing sometimes), and it needs a good wax/buff. Rides really good though, no 65mph shimmy even. Very clean overall...

If you want a cruise module i can dig mine up all you would need i think is the other brakes switch with a built in criuse disengage. Lemme Know Free shipping and product. FWIW it is also a 92, worked fine when removed just no room with the turbo in there.

Well price is a big thing here. BEGI has these listed on their website for $1300 retail. That is a lot of money for a piggy back.
